JULY 2018 UPDATE:
Despite rumors to the contrary, THE LITTLE NASHVILLE OPRY will
be returning to Nashville.
Despite a false story being circulated around the Nashville and Brown County
communities, the property has not been sold, and is still owned by the LNO, INC.
AND YES! We do plan to rebuild and open as soon as possible.

Why Has It Taken So Long To Rebuild?
It is well known that sanitary sewer service has been an issue. While that has been resolved, the 2 year delay
in obtaining the State of Indiana permit to operate a Package Sewage Treatment Plant, combined with other issues
related to the project, has slowed progress.
With the assistance of Town of Nashville officials and the Brown County Health Department, a number of options
were considered including connection to the Town of Nashville system. However that option was not cost effective.
In addition, town regulations required that sewer system customers be annexed into the Town of Nashville.
State and Brown County permits have been issued for the Little Nashville Opry Sewage Treatment Facility.
Our thanks to the Brown County Council for their approval of a 10-year property tax abatement to assist with the
costs associated with the wastewater treatment facility.
When will The New Little Nashville Opry Open?
LNO, LLC in conjunction with Reale Design-Build is finalizing plans for construction of the 2000 seat facility.
The good news is, according to the Brown County Planning and Zoning Department, the property is already zoned
properly. No additional rezoning is needed.
What type of entertainment can we expect at The Little Nashville Opry?
The Little Nashville Opry will be a family friendly venue. Due to it's 33 year history, the Opry is synonymous with
Country Music, and will continue the tradition of bringing the biggest stars to Nashville Indiana.
